Good Food Ireland is a not-for-profit industry organisation driving food tourism for Ireland. It promotes the link between the food producer and the hospitality sector so as to steer visitors to places that are committed to using local food. Good Food Ireland promotes the people behind the food from the chef to the cheese maker and highlights the cultural relationship between a country, its people and its food.

Georgina Campbell Guides is a small publishing company specialising in Irish food and hospitality that was established in 1997 by Georgina Campbell, the well-known food & travel writer. The Irish company’s flagship product is Georgina Campbell’s Ireland – the Guide (All The Best Places to Eat, Drink & Stay).
Winners of Bridgestone Guides’ Green Gourmet Award for Eco Friendliness 2009 – Electric Picnic
The central role of food at Electric Picnic was recognised in 2008 by the first Bridgestone Guide Electric Picnic Awards, when four outstanding vendors were chosen by the judges to receive awards recognising their singular and delicious efforts to source and serve exceptional food to the festivalgoers. The winners each received a Bridgestone Best in Ireland Plaque and a specially commissioned piece of Rosemarie Durr pottery.
This year four awards will once again be presented to those vendors considered by the judges as the people producing the Best Dressed Food Award for presentation and style; the Healthy Buzz Award for seriously healthy food; the Greenest Gourmet Award for eco-friendliness; and the On Our Doorstep Award for the best use of local and regional ingredients.
Bord Bia’s Just Ask Restaurant of the month July 2009
The ‘Just Ask Restaurant of the Month’ award is organised in association with Bord Bia and the Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide.
Winning restaurants are chosen on the basis of their commitment to provide transparency to diners – crediting suppliers and identifying country of origin for meat on their menus
To enter the competition, chefs are asked to submit their menus to Georgina Campbell which are then judged on the information provided about the sourcing of their ingredients.
May 2008 - Double delight for the Rathmullan House team as there is huge success for the chefs first ever food fair and the hotels top industry award of four AA Stars and two Rosettes! The AA awards are prestigious awards that draw on the unrivalled knowledge and experience of the AA inspectorate and other industry professionals involved in the judging process. Rathmullan House will now be listed in its 2008 AA Lifestyle Guide as four stars for its service and accommodation and two rosettes for it's Weeping Elm Restaurant and Cellar Bar Eatery. The Lifestyle Guide is a modern guide that recommends AA-inspected properties, rated from one to five stars, within the UK and Ireland to plan a perfect break away with confidence.
