A room for you......
Rathmullan House Hotel has a wide choice available amongst its 32 bedrooms.
Each bedroom has its own distinctive character - from the grand suite to the cosy bijou single.
The ten bedrooms in the stunning new Regency wing, completed in 2004, have double doors opening to ground & first floor views over the gardens and Lough Swilly, or onto the garden itself, with the smell of roses heavy in the air in summer.
Each of the new bedrooms are decorated with a theme in mind, from 'William morris' to 'Shaker'.
Or you can go for a traditional house feel in the main house, and perhaps check into a room with a four poster or a spacious sitting area.
The choice is yours - bedrooms vary in decor, facilites and cost to suit different requirements and budgets (and everyone has their own favourite). There are superior rooms, family rooms, standard rooms and single rooms - and even a special room for dog lovers, complete with pooch's own bed.

“...And after that back to the books and the lamp-lit, spacious bedroom with its fine bedlinen and generous bathroom details”
Mary Leland, Irish Examiner
Our standard bedrooms are good-sized traditional rooms with large bathrooms. Some have views over the gardens and Lough Swilly and some have sitting areas. Others have four-poster beds and some are inter-connecting rooms suitable for children.
In style, many are themed from Chinese to the Blue room. Each has its own particular character.

“The feeling of gently unwinding continued from the moment we dumped our bags on a large four-poster bed. . .”
Tom Bruce-Gardyn, Sunday Telegraph
The superior rooms in the main house are large and beautifully furnished with antiques. Some have four-poster beds and all have sitting areas and spacious bathrooms, which mostly feature freestanding baths and walk-in showers.
In style, many are themed from Mackintosh to Shaker to William Morris; most are traditional while some are contemporary.
Some have balconies with views of the garden, some views are of Lough Swilly and some have under floor heating and electric fires.
The richly furnished Regency rooms in the new wing are bathed in light during the day, thanks to superb high windows opening onto balconies or little terraces. They’re strikingly different in conception and design, and offer visitors a distinctive new choice in accommodation at Rathmullan House.
