Popular annual events include our Writer’s Day, which has been hosted by award-winning talents like Dermot Bolger or Jennifer Johnston, and offers a wonderful way to enjoy great literature and food in idyllic surroundings.

Each summer the Chapter House Theatre Company presents the finest Shakespearian drama in the lovely setting of our gardens. From our award-winning Good Food Road Food van, our chefs provide a veritable feast of delicious food al fresco, from crab linguini to seafood chowder, and you can chill out with a drink from our outdoor bar while the kids play in the garden.
