Whether you're hiring our private dining room for up to 60 people or would prefer exclusive use of the whole hotel which is suitable for weddings from 70 to 150 (other guests can be accommodated at nearby B&B's and self catering chalets), the family and staff work with you every step of the way to ensure an unforgettable experience.
At Rathmullan House we understand how important it is for you to feel truly at home on your wedding day. We work with you to make planning your wedding from the UK as easy as possible. We have hosted weddings for several couples living overseas and now consider ourselves experts at organising expatriate weddings!
From your initial enquiry, we will work with you to help you choose the very best in wedding suppliers. We have relationships with local photographers, cake suppliers, car hire companies and florists, making it easy for you to plan your wedding in a weekend!
We are conveniently located close to City of Derry Airport or Belfast Airport which is a 2 hour drive away. On arrival at Rathmullan House, you will be greeted by one of the family who will show you around our beautiful venue. While you are getting to know the hotel and the area, we will put together a tailored wedding package for you. This will offer you the very best of quality, locally sourced food and excellent champagnes and wines. We will have all of this ready for you to review before you leave, allowing you to finalise your dates and return home with your wedding booked. On your next visit, which we call our" Weekend Wedding Blitz", you will meet with local wedding suppliers, so that you can have your perfect wedding day planned in two easy visits!
We can help with minibus transfers from City of Derry Airport on specified flights that coincide with your wedding; this makes it so easy for your guests to get here!

We discuss with you which rooms to allocate to each guest and plan your reception, dinner, entertainment and rooms in detail. Our award-winning chefs are on hand to help tailor your wedding meal to your liking. We can advise on wines from our extensive list or alternatively we allow you bring in your own and pay corkage. We can also set up a dedicated web page just for your wedding, allocating a special password to the bride and groom. This allows guests to choose their own rooms and book online (or you can allocate them yourselves). You can also have a wedding list for presents too.
